Phases already accomplished

Term Project
June 5th to june 26th, 2002

The month of June has been used by all groups to carefullu, and detail, all information and data obtained and gathered during field trips, as well as from institutions directly involved with the subject matter. Every group carried on the project outlines in order to specify and organize its many phases.

In accordance to co-ordinators orientations, each group has been requested to present its project outlines, as follows:

Frontispiece detailing the school name, each group participant´s and mentoring teacher´s names.

Report Justification of the project will link it to a sustainable development concept.

Objetives - Each group will present its project topic linking to a sustainable development of the investigated region as well as the targets to be reached.

Hypothesis of the project will be explanatory as to the developed research and solutions given to targeted problems and or issues

Project Development - All groups will account every planned phases they have gone throgh in order to come to the ploblems solutions, such as bibliography research, field research and product definition.

Monitoring teachers and co-ordinators meeting

Exchange of information and data among monitoring teachers enabled them to establish the above procedure. Project outlines were handed over and second semester activities were considered and scheduled.

In order to help the students of Junior High involved by the Ana Dias Project, High School students, attending Communication Calass, will provide them with tecnical support for a clip production about the project backsides.

A meeting was also scheduled for next August. It was decided that some students from each group will attend it in order to promote an exchange of experiences they have gone through and also discuss the interpretations given by the problems foud out in common in the region. Thus, they will be able to draw "a dynamic portrait of Ana Dias region" in its whole.
